Activists Confront Winnipeg Police on Police Brutality

On November 13th, 2014 after countless activists marched in the streets demanding an end to police brutality in Winnipeg, activists surrounded the Public Safety Building which houses the Winnipeg Police Service. The building had to be shut down because of the protesters marching towards the building. Activists and police ended up in confrontational arguments.

Winnipeggers were furious after Lana Sinclair, the mother of a police officer herself was allegedly brutalized in her home by police in front of her 8 year old son over a false alarm. She was getting her son ready to go out for Halloween and yelled for her partner to hurry up. An overly concerned neighbor called the police and one police officer started getting physical. The officer allegedly poked Lana in the chest to which Lana told him to stop. This ended in the police officer punching Lana in the face, hitting her in the knee and seriously brutalizing her giving her two black eyes.

Before the police building was stormed, one activist confronted a police officer as the march took over the busy intersection of Portage and Main, asking "Do you guys get paid well to beat up women?" to which he got an unsettling answer from the officer: "We get paid very well."

United We Fall

A film by Bryan Law and Dan Dicks "United We Fall" is a documentary about the North American Union that is being developed right now between Canada, the United States, and Mexico. For years this topic has been debated in the news and in political circles as being a possible future for North America. In recent years, the mood has shifted and a rift is developing between those who want a Deeply Integrated North American Community, and those who wish to retain their national sovereignty. This film takes a look at both sides by interviewing both insiders and activists who have been at the heart of this heated debate. The film also looks to the broader agenda of building a world government and its implications.

Behold the power of a cookie in the hands of a seasoned veteran.

He was definitely much more of an angry S.O.B the time
his wife packed only veggies in his lunch.

Smoke Crack, Keep Job?

Well, it looks as though yet another political figure has been caught up in the steamy underbelly of society. Toronto's Mayor Rob Ford has admitted that yes, he has/does smoke crack. It looks like he also gets to keep the Mayor gig for the time being as well.

Sorry to say, but besides Meth & heroin, Crack is one of the most addictive and dirtiest street drugs on the "market." If you make a bad decision like smoking crack, what other bad decisions are you making?

If these are "public officials" then maybe they are the ones who should be randomly drug tested. We have let these sacks o' shit run amok with impunity long enough. There is something seriously wrong with the collective mind when we let pimps, thieves & murderers run EVERYTHING.

Wake up, you are being fed upon.
